Azlan puts Cisco Hyperflex in the spotlight

Briefing on vendor’s UCS-based hyper-converged solution aims to get more partners actively taking the pre-integrated server, storage and virtualisation offering to their customers

Basingstoke, 25 May 2016 – Azlan, the enterprise value added distribution business of Tech Data, is holding a special partner briefing session on Cisco’s Hyperflex converged solution  in London next week, with the aim of encouraging more of the company’s resellers to take advantage of the massive opportunity the market presents.

According to Gartner, the market for hyper converged integrated systems (HCIS) will grow 79 percent to reach almost $2 billion in 2016 and will be the fastest-growing segment of the overall market for integrated systems, reaching almost $5 billion, which is 24 percent of the market, by 2019*1.

Azlan wants to encourage more partners to take a lead in this fast-growing segment with Cisco’s Hyperflex solution. Jennifer Robertson, Cisco Marketing Manager for Azlan, said: “There has been a lot of hype around hyper convergence but there are still a lot of resellers and end-user customers that don’t exactly understand the benefits it offers. This event is designed to make it easy for partners to get a firm grasp of the concept and Cisco Hyperflex and encourage them to start taking it to their customers.”

Based on the proven Cisco UCS architecture, Hyperflex brings all Cisco’s data centre experience and reputation to the hyper converged space.  Designed with the network in mind, Hyperflex delivers the very best pre-integrated infrastructure, storage performance and security, with a single management point. It is the only hyper converged offering that allows customers to add extra compute power (in the form of UCS blades), without the need for additional memory or storage.

Hyperflex is best positioned at the edge of the network, so works well in branch offices, retail, manufacturing and healthcare. It can be deployed in less than an hour and scale up to support multiple sites.

Expert speakers from both companies will present at the Azlan and Cisco HyperFlex briefing, which takes place on Friday 3rd June in central London.  Resellers who are interested in attending the event can register here.
