Maverick AV Solutions strengthens smart meeting room offering with Sennheiser agreement

Tech Data launches next release of OpenMPS managed print service

Smart dashboard gives partners instant visualizations of customer data and more control over pricing – further improvements made to safeguard against fraud

Tech Data team shines with dual award win at Veeam UK Partner Summit

Named Distribution Partner of the Year for second year running and the Aggregator of the Year award for outstanding success in supporting Veeam Cloud & Service Provider partners

Tech Data becomes first distributor to be accredited for Cisco Enterprise Agreements

  • Partners can now offer Cisco EAs through Tech Data without being formally accredited
  • Expands reach of Cisco EA to mid-market customers

Basingstoke, 11 April 2022Tech Data, a TD SYNNEX (NYSE: SNX) company, has become the first distributor accredited to offer Cisco Enterprise Agreements (Cisco EA) through partners in the UK and will be working with Cisco partners to extend the availability and reach of Cisco EAs to more mid-market customers.

With immediate effect, Cisco partners will be able to apply to offer EA plans to their customers through Tech Data without having to attain a formal Cisco EA accreditation of their own. Tech Data will manage all the administrative tasks to ensure that the customer is fully registered for their agreement.

To become fully authorised as a Cisco EA partner, Tech Data was required to achieve specific technical accreditations across the region. It has made this additional investment to support partners in developing Cisco EA business, said Jon Sawdon, business unit director – Cisco and enterprise networking, at Tech Data,
