New version of the company’s Ethernet Quoting Tool provides resellers with additional bandwidth options from tried and trusted carriers while retaining its simple approach

Telford, 11 May 2017 – Leading wholesale connectivity provider, Entanet, has released an enhanced version of its popular Ethernet Quoting Tool (EQT) with additional bandwidth options from a select group of trusted carriers, enabling resellers to offer more choice to their customers.

In addition to the previously-available options of up to 100Mbps, resellers can get immediate quotes for 200Mbps, 300Mbps, 400Mbps and 500Mbps leased lines on 1Gbps bearers. Importantly, they can add multiple options to each quotation, rather than having to generate separate quotes for each, making it easy for resellers to present customers with a simple set of choices.

The Entanet EQT is renowned for its speed and ease of use and the company has taken care to retain this simplicity. Accessed from within its synergi portal, resellers are presented with a single page, from which they can choose the bandwidth, bearer size and the contract term required (between one and three years). A backup service and PSTN line can be added to quotes if required.

The new bandwidth options have been added to meet growing demand, says Entanet Sales Manager, Paul North. “We’ve seen an increased number of requests for 200Mbps, 300Mbps or more on 1Gbps bearers in recent months. We could provide these before of course, but they weren’t on the quoting tool, which we have always wanted to keep as simple as possible. The desire for higher bandwidth now is very strong. That’s being driven by increased use of the cloud and digital transformation, both of which are raising awareness of just how important connectivity is for the growing number of organisations that depend entirely on their digital systems.”

Entanet offers Ethernet connections only from carriers who are known from direct experience as being fast and dependable, both in terms of provisioning and service delivery. This means the options on the EQT can be kept simple, and ensures that resellers and their customers can rely on the service that’s delivered.

Paul North adds: “Our approach to business is to keep it simple, personal and professional. In our experience, partners and their customers don’t want hundreds of options. They just want a reasonable choice of services that they know will be consistent, give value for money and deliver reliability. We only work with a few select carriers who we know will perform well. That ensures that we maintain our own and the partner’s reputation, and that the customer gets the service they need.”
