Integration with InTouch will produce fast, accurate and relevant quotations across range of PowerEdgeNow stocked servers
BARCELONA, Spain (03 April, 2019) – Tech Data (Nasdaq: TECD) today announced the European launch of PowerQuote, a web-based quote configuration tool for Dell EMC server solutions that is now fully integrated with InTouch, Tech Data’s online sales platform in Europe. PowerQuote allows customers to build their own solutions and produces fast, accurate and relevant quotations across a range of Dell EMC PowerEdgeNow servers. As part of InTouch, it also offers real-time visibility on pricing and inventory information as well as access to upgrades and associated services.

Once logged on to InTouch, Tech Data customers will see their own bespoke pricing and up-to-date information on the distributor’s extensive stock of PowerEdgeNow servers. Promotional discounts will also be highlighted in the tool and customers are able to build their own solutions by choosing and comparing models. PowerQuote enables easier upselling and automatically recommends add-ons such as support services and Microsoft Server Software licenses, while built-in configuration intelligence will warn users if a configuration becomes invalid and will offer alternative suggested solutions.

The tool is now available now to customers in Belgium, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal, UK, France, Germany, Austria and the Nordic region, and will be introduced to additional European countries in a phased rollout. The tool will continue to be enhanced with additional products, further automation and user-friendly features.
