Basingstoke, 23 February 2016 – Tech Data and Microsoft have jointly produced a comprehensive guide to show how Microsoft technologies and Windows 10 in particular can provide an immersive learning experience and accelerate learning in schools and classrooms.
The guide also details some of the tools Tech Data provides to help resellers explain how solutions can be deployed, such as the Virtual Classroom*1, Demand Generation Portal*2, and Touch Device Finder*3.
The distributor has worked with Microsoft to produce the guide. Kirsty Prigmore, Public Sector Marketing Manager at Tech Data, said: “Microsoft is putting a lot of effort and investment into providing the right software tools and services for modern learning environments. We’ve been working together successfully to support resellers in developing business in the education sector and the guide is the latest product of that partnership. We’re hoping it will inspire more resellers to start targeting schools and colleges, as many already do very successfully.”
Tech Data and Microsoft have supported a number of partners in driving education business. Notable achievements include supporting the deployment of 200 Surface devices into a secondary school in south London.
