Basingstoke, 02 December, 2020 – Tech Data has entered into a partnership with MendIT, one of the UK’s leading providers of extended warranties, insurance, and onsite repairs, and will offer the company’s nationwide services as part of its complete lifecycle management programme.
With immediate effect, Tech Data’s retailer and reseller partners will be able to quote their customers for extended and on-site warranties and repair services provided by MendIT. More than 300 different contracts, covering all major hardware brands, are available for resellers to offer to their commercial and public sector customers. Burnley-based MendIT offers services on all leading vendors of laptops, PCs, tablets, and mobile phones.
The partnership adds to Tech Data’s growing portfolio of lifecycle services, which include the Tech Data Renew trade-in scheme, under which end-user customers can release the residual value of their old equipment, making new investments more affordable. Tech Data’s Tech-as-a-Service offering provides an easy way for partners to offer hardware, software, and services on a monthly subscription basis.
By making MendIT’s services available, Tech Data is providing resellers with the opportunity to deliver more to their customers and drive higher revenues and profits. Tech Data has appointed a full-time business development executive, Rachel Baker, to support partners in identifying and winning business with MendIT.
