Tech Data offers Run Rate Promotion as extra incentive for Citrix partners in the UK

Basingstoke, 14 May 2020Tech Data (Nasdaq: TECD), is presenting Citrix partners in the UK with a great opportunity to increase their profits and drive sales with its 2020 Run Rate promotion, which offers them a special rebate when they achieve pre-set sales goals.

In addition, the distributor is offering additional support to Citrix partners to ensure that they can follow up on the recent acceleration in sales and further deepen and strengthen customer relationships. An upsurge of activity and engagement in March and April saw VDI license sales booming. Tech Data now wants to help resellers build on that growth, said Bev Wallace, Citrix Business Development Manager, UK, at Tech Data.

In addition, she noted, Tech Data has extensive credit and finance options, which are vitally important at a time when many budgets may have come under unexpected strain.

The 2020 Run Rate promotion is already available and proving to be popular with Citrix partners as a way of boosting margins. Available only on deals of under $100,000, consisting of net new licence sales of eligible products, and not usable with any other promotion, it offers a quarterly rebate of five per ent, up to a stated upper limit. Each partner is given a baseline target, based on average run-rate over the past five quarters or 50 per cent of run-rate (whichever is greater).

Currently, the promotion is running until the end of June, but it may be extended.
