Immediate verification of orders on the fast-growing Google software range will give partners confidence and allow them to offer an even better level of customer service

Basingstoke, 05 July 2022Tech Data, a TD SYNNEX (NYSE: SNX) company, has launched a Google Software Store, a dedicated self-service portal that will reduce the time and effort required for partners to register sales and process Google software licences, helping them to be more efficient and profitable – and deliver better service to customers.

Using the Google Software Store, partners selling to education, the public sector and to enterprises will get immediate verification that their orders have been received and are being actioned. This will save time and provide partners with the reassurance of knowing that orders are being processed and ready for provisioning as quickly as possible.

“The Google Software Store is going to save partners a lot of time and effort”, said Paul Nicholas, senior manager for Google Cloud at Tech Data. “In particular, it’s going to cut down on repetition and ensure that orders are complete and accurate, preventing any risk of delays or errors. The immediate verification of orders will make a huge difference. It will give partners greater confidence and allow them to deliver an improved level of service to their customers. Google has been a strong area of focus for us, and this is a further benefit that will enhance services for Google partners significantly.”

An initial launch webinar was attended by close to 70 partners who gave positive feedback on the speed at which orders could be processed. Several have already made use of the Software Store.

Tech Data has invested strongly in Google software, putting a dedicated team in place and providing extensive support to partners. As a result, sales have been growing rapidly over the past two years, driven by the increase in both learning and working at home, and increased use for core productivity in the workplace.

Partners will be able to use the Tech Data Google Software Store to process orders for Google Chrome Enterprise, Education and Google Meet. Additionally, in May 2022, Tech Data became a distributor for Google Cloud Platform as part of a global agreement with TD SYNNEX and can now offer the full end to end portfolio of Google Cloud to partners, including Google Workspace.

The Software Store has been launched after Tech Data and Google worked together to ensure a tight integration between back-office systems. Partners can easily access the Software Store pages through their normal InTouch log-in. The Software Stores help partners to secure business earlier and more efficiently, supporting customer retention, helping to keep cashflow moving, and providing added business stability.

There are existing Software Stores for Autodesk, Adobe, Broadcom, Cisco, HPE Pointnext, Microsoft, Red Hat, Veeam, Veritas, and VMware.
