Independent fibre provider also Highly Commended in Best Partner Programme category as investment in its network and delivering better service and support is recognised once again
CityFibre, the UK’s largest independent, carrier-neutral full fibre platform, has claimed another award that underlines the strength of its full fibre network and continuing rollout programme, being named winner of the Best Carrier or Network category in the 2022 Comms National Awards, (CNAs). It was also Highly Commended in the Best Partner Programme (above £10M) award.
Commenting on this latest success, Andy Wilson, Sales Director, Wholesale Channel at CityFibre, stated: “This a fantastic testament to the persistent investment, dedication, diligence, and downright determination that we have put into the development of our new fibre only network. It’s wonderful to see that being recognised. Winning this prestigious award only makes us more certain, committed and confident that we are getting it absolutely right – for our customers, our partners, our investors, and for Britain.
“This recognition of our partner programme is important to us as we continue to collaborate and innovate to co-create a differentiated offering in the market. By adopting a challenger mindset and delivering better services on a better network, CityFibre is disrupting the market and delivering the speed, reliability and productivity gains that UK businesses need. We’ve already achieved a great deal and we’re now picking up the pace even more with our build programme and moving further ahead in the race to full fibre.”
The CNA 2022 Best Carrier or Network accolade is one of a long succession of awards that recognise CityFibre’s innovative and ground-breaking approach to delivering full fibre connectivity and the excellent support it delivers to its partners. In July, the company picked up a trio of Channel Champions Awards – for Best Vendor/Distributor Marketing Team, Best Vendor/Distributor People and Culture Team, and Channel Champions Team of the Year.
In May, the business received the Best Fibre Investment Award in the inaugural UK Fibre Awards, with CEO Greg Mesch accepting the Services to Digital Britain award. CityFibre is also on the shortlist for the Best Infrastructure 100K+ award in the ISPA Awards 2022.
