Telford, 20 October 2021 – CityFibre, the UK’s largest independent digital infrastructure platform, walked away from this year’s Comms National Awards with two prestigious titles, after it was named Best Altnet of the year and also picked up the Diversity Award. In addition, CityFibre was highly commended in the Best Network category.
This latest recognition once again underlines CityFibre’s commitment and dedication to delivering Full Fibre connectivity across the UK and generating profitable opportunities for the whole channel. It also demonstrates the company’s commitment to creating an open and inclusive working environment for everyone.
Commenting on the successes, CityFibre’s Head of Wholesale, Andy Wilson, said: “We are thrilled to have been named Best Altnet and to be honoured with the Diversity Award. Both categories are really important for very different reasons, and both mean a great deal to CityFibre and its entire team.
“To have our on-going commitment to deploying Full Fibre to almost 30 percent of the UK, and delivering an ever-growing opportunity to our channel partners, acknowledged in this way is fantastic. The recognition of our on-going work to ensure everyone at CityFibre has a voice is of equal importance and value. We are all really proud to have won this award – it’s a great achievement and we hope that CityFibre can continue to stand as an example of best practice in diversity for the entire industry.”
CityFibre has also been named as a finalist for the 2021 ISPA Awards and has already claimed the Best Sales Support award in this year’s Channel Champions Awards.
