Demonstrates TD SYNNEX’s commitment to supporting female co-workers
Basingstoke, 23 July 2025 – TD SYNNEX (NYSE: SNX) has been named as one of the 2025 UK’s Best Workplaces for Women™ by Great Place To Work® UK, being ranked 19th in the Super Large category.
The listing recognises TD SYNNEX’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that women have equal opportunity to thrive in the workplace. The 2025 UK’s Best Workplaces for Women list is made up of employers whose people have told Great Place To Work® UK they work for a place that is inclusive and equitable for all. The 350 companies on the list are committed to ensuring a reasonable balance of women and men across the organisation; removing barriers to women’s career advancement; and creating workplaces where all employees, regardless of gender, can flourish.
Jodie Carroll, senior director, human resources, UK and Ireland, TD SYNNEX, stated: “Being listed as one of 2025 UK’s Best Workplaces for Women™ demonstrates TD SYNNEX UK’s commitment to supporting women co-workers and ensuring they have equal opportunities to develop and thrive. We support and encourage women to be ambitious, advance their skills and achieve their full potential. We inspire women to believe in themselves, aim high and apply for senior management and technical roles. We continue to make further improvements in our approach to recruitment, gender balance and well-being, and encourage other companies in our industry to do the same.
“Women co-workers are integral to our diverse workforce and the wide range of skills, abilities, backgrounds, and experiences we have within TD SYNNEX UK is key to our high performance culture. This enables us to understand and meet the needs of our customers and deliver a better and more personal service to them.”
TD SYNNEX continually supports women co-workers in a number of ways. Its Elevate business resource group is dedicated to encouraging women to thrive and in the past year has produced a series of podcasts covering subjects such as imposter syndrome and endometriosis and worked to raise awareness of the challenges presented to women by the menopause and maternity.
Women are encouraged to progress and advance their careers and TD SYNNEX has a successful and well-established mentoring programme with more than 50 active one-to-one partnerships. Almost half of our mentees (47 percent) and more than a quarter of our mentors (27 percent) are female. In the 12 months to May 2025, 45 women have been able to advance through internal promotions.
Over a third, (34 percent) of our people-manager roles are occupied by women and in October last year, TD SYNNEX conducted a qualitative survey of this group of co-workers to better understand their challenges. Almost 90 percent felt that mentorship is extremely important and 41 percent stated they wouldn’t have advanced to their current position without the support of a mentor/manager who encouraged them to step forward and apply for a role. It also found that 96 percent feel career advancement is possible at TD SYNNEX and 95 percent feel their achievements are appropriately recognised.
TD SYNNEX provides flexible working options for all co-workers and continues to work towards closing its gender pay gap, which currently stands at 16.2 percent, down from last year’s 19.2 percent. In June, Jodie Carroll, senior director HR, and David Watts, senior vice president, regional managing director, UK and Ireland, recorded a special podcast delving into the topic.
In April, TD SYNNEX was Certified™ by Great Place To Work® for the third year in succession. In May, it was named as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development™ 2025 and in June, listed as one of the 2025 UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™.
Benedict Gautrey, managing director of Great Place To Work UK says: “This year’s UK’s Best Workplaces for Women list highlights organisations that are moving beyond good intentions and delivering real, measurable progress. These companies are dismantling outdated norms, prioritising women’s health, and building clear, supported pathways to leadership.
“This recognition is driven by what matters most: the voices of women who work there. They’ve said, in their own words, that their workplace is one where they’re respected, empowered, and able to succeed. Congratulations to TD SYNNEX for leading by example — and showing what a genuinely inclusive workplace can look like.”
