Basingstoke, 30 May 2019 – Tech Data (Nasdaq: TECD) will be showcasing its ability to enable partners for the next generation of security solutions and support partner growth at this year’s Infosecurity Europe (Infosec) conference and exhibition, which is taking place at London Olympia on 5-6 June, 2019.

The Tech Data Security Practice teams will be there to demonstrate and discuss how they can assist resellers at all stages of their security journey, in developing their skills and capabilities to advance their status as a trusted advisor on security, growing sales and delivering effective solutions to customers.

Alison Nixon, Business Unit Director – Security Tech Data UK, said: “Our security practice is thriving, and we will be demonstrating all our capabilities at Infosec. We’re really looking forward to talking to new and existing partners about the many opportunities we see for us to work together to grow their security and data protection sales. We are particularly excited about our new Secure Cloud proposition, which builds on two of the biggest trends in the market today to open up new potential for our partners.”

The Secure Cloud proposition – which Tech Data is debuting at InfoSec – provides a framework to help customers address the changing dynamics and new dimensions of protection and evolve their strategy, as customers start to adopt third and fourth platform solutions.

Even before the get to the entrance, visitors to InfoSec will be greeted by a fully-branded Tech Data double-decker bus, which will be parked by the Grand Entrance Hall, adjacent to the registration area. This is being manned and sponsored by a number of Tech Data’s security partners, including Cisco, IBM, Malwarebytes, RSA, SonicWall and Veracode. Visitors will be able to meet with these companies and with Tech Data Security team staff on the bus. Partners and their customers will also be invited to a drinks reception taking place on the bus at 4.00pm on both days of the event.
