- New groups will build on success of Cisco Data Centre Boost Community launched last year
- Presents opportunities for partners to share ideas, views, and experiences and keep up to date with best practice
Basingstoke, 31 March 2021 – Tech Data is launching two new Boost Communities – one each for collaboration and security – that will bring partners together to share experiences and ideas, and gain insights and knowledge from each other – as well as from Tech Data and Cisco – on how to grow their sales.
A Boost Community for Cisco data centre solutions was launched in autumn last year and has now been successfully established. The aim will be to emulate this success in the areas of security and collaboration, which present huge opportunities for partners, said Tony Nevill, director – Cisco, at Tech Data, UK and Ireland.
“The goal with the Boost Communities is to bring together Cisco partners and enable them to feed off and learn from each other. It’s worked well with data centre solutions and we expect the same kind of positive engagement and activity with security and collaboration, both of which are fast-moving and rapidly-growing areas of business for Cisco partners.
There will be a range of activities in which the members of the community can get involved, including regular online webinars and workshops and an online forum. Resellers can also sign up for Tech Data’s Cisco Momentum programme and learn about and take advantage of the various tools and resources Tech Data offers to Cisco partners, including the unique 1Source rapid quoting platform.
Tech Data has an extensive and dedicated Cisco team, who support partners in a myriad of ways. Its prowess in Cisco solutions was underlined recently with its achievement of Cisco Customer Experience Specialisation in the UK.
