Wokingham, 20 September 2023 – A group of eleven people (pictured) from Zyxel Networks and distributor Intec Micros recently took part in a testing six-hour hike up Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowden) in Wales to raise funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

John Lester, Sales Director of Intec Micros, which is based in Birmingham, said: “This charity climb carries a message of unity and hope. The joint efforts of Intec Micros and Zyxel Networks remind us that even in the midst of our busy lives and demanding professions, we can make a positive impact. We hope this sends a powerful message about unity, empathy, and the capacity for change that resides within each and every one of us.”

Rachel Rothwell, Senior Regional Director, UK and Ireland, Zyxel, added: “Zyxel and Intec Micros have shared culture and values and we work together closely to make sure that MSPs and reseller partners have all the support they need to grow and develop their business. The Snowden challenge was a way of underlining that but more importantly, raising awareness and additional funds for a such a fantastic cause.”

Standing at over 3,000 feet, the iconic Yr Wyddfa is the highest mountain in the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park – and the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands.
