Appointment will ensure consistency of strategic execution as company’s presence in key markets continues to grow

Wokingham, 24 September 2025 – Zyxel Networks has announced the appointment of Rachel Rothwell to the post of Senior Director with responsibility for overseeing the performance of Zyxel Networks operations in France, Italy, and Spain, as well as the UK and Ireland

The appointment is part of a reorganisation designed to enhance consistency of strategic execution and pave the way for the next phase of Zyxel Networks’ growth in the EMEA region. For the previous three years, Rothwell has been senior regional director for the UK&I, and prior to that held the post of Regional Director – Southern Europe & UK for almost eight years. In total, she has been with Zyxel Networks for 20 years.

Rothwell said: “The visibility and strength of the Zyxel Networks brand has grown significantly, and with a new partner programme in place since the start of this year and expanded product lines, we are now ready to enter the next phase of growth and development. I look forward to working with the teams in all five countries within the western Europe region and supporting their continued efforts to drive sales growth for Zyxel Networks and our MSP and reseller partners.”

Jean-Michel Bielli, Senior Vice President Channel Sales Europe, Middle East, Africa and North America at Zyxel Networks, added: “As we continue to evolve and grow our presence in key markets, it’s important to be clear and consistent in the execution of our strategy. With her vast knowledge and experience of our business and of working with partners throughout the region, Rachel is the ideal person to lead our in-country teams in this key territory.”

With its range of multi-gigabit switches, WiFi access points, firewall appliances, and 5G/LTE routers, Zyxel Networks is a well-established player in the networking market. It also has a significant and rapidly-growing presence in managed services, with many MSPs using its renowned Nebula cloud management platform as the central pillar of their value proposition.

Zyxel Networks’ unique partner programme rewards partners for continuing to grow their managed services customer base, as well as driving product and licence sales. The company recently added to its range of WiFi 7 access points, bringing the number of Zyxel Networks devices it offers to 13.

In April this year, Zyxel Networks launched its latest USG FLEX H series of firewalls, giving SMBs and MSPs an easier and more consistent way to manage security, along with unified threat management (UTM) performance. These devices also support the unique Smart Sync capability, which mirrors changes made locally on the Nebula cloud platform and vice-versa.

Earlier this month, Zyxel Networks unveiled its latest innovation for partners – a Pay as You Go (PAYG) online payment option for Nebula that provides new levels of flexibility and scalability for partners as they grow their business with Zyxel Networks.
