New IAP500BE opens up potential for MSPs and reseller partners to target new business opportunities in manufacturing, warehousing, maintenance, and storage sectors
Wokingham, 05 November 2025—Zyxel Networks, a leader in delivering secure and AI-powered cloud networking solutions, has launched its first industrial-grade WiFi 7 access point, opening up potential for MSPs and reseller partners to drive sales in the manufacturing and industrial sectors.
The IAP500BE access point* (AP) has been designed for challenging indoor environments such as warehouses, storage facilities and maintenance shops. It delivers rugged durability, extended coverage and ultra-fast WiFi 7 performance, all of which will help industrial companies overcome the challenges of delivering fast, reliable and scalable connectivity that will help to accelerate digital transformation.
The launch presents a really good opportunity for MSPs and reseller partners to seek out potential opportunities in new markets, said Kevin Drinkall, Senior Marketing & GTM Strategy Director, Zyxel Networks. “This is our first WiFi 7 AP designed for industrial use and that will allow our partners to target markets such as warehousing and distribution, maintenance, light engineering and storage. In all these sectors, businesses are looking to digitally transform and drive efficiency. With that comes an increasing dependency on fast WiFi connectivity that will function reliably in demanding environments and enable them to scale. With the IAP500BE, Zyxel Networks partners can provide a WiFi 7 solution that delivers the performance, resilience and flexible management that will simplify and accelerate industrial digital transformation.”
Importantly for MSPs, the IAP500BE can be managed using Nebula, Zyxel Networks’ cloud management platform, making it possible to pre-configure and install devices and subsequently monitor and control devices remotely. This will allow managed service providers to offer a ‘zero-touch’ service for both the deployment and management of the AP for industrial sites, many of which will have restricted access.
In addition, the option to manage devices locally allows devices to be finely tuned to meet specific needs. With Zyxel Networks’ Smart Sync function, changes made via Nebula and locally are replicated automatically, saving MSPs and local administrators time while reducing the potential for errors.
The IAP500BE WiFi 7 access point combines Smart Mesh MLO and an ‘RF-first’ design to deliver fast performance and improved coverage in large spaces. It combines multi-gigabit connectivity with ultra-low latency – ideal for environments in which sensitive equipment, sensors, worker handhelds, mobile automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and control systems are in use.
Smart Mesh MLO combines multi-link operation (MLO) with mesh networking to create a dual-radio mesh backhaul, boosting throughput by up to 40%[1] while extending coverage. While the use of antenna isolation technology and optimised layouts minimise interference.
The device has a metal housing and fanless design operating reliably over a temperature range from -25°C to 65°C. Dual power inputs with reverse polarity safeguards ensure the AP will keep running during power failures. It can be mounted on DIN-rails, secured to walls, or installed in enclosed cabinets and with external antenna support, allows flexible placement.
