The new NWA130BE offers unparalleled speed and ultra-low latency to supercharge WiFi for modern workplaces.

Zyxel Networks, a leader in delivering secure, AI-powered cloud networking solutions, has released its NWA130BE – BE11000 WiFi 7 Triple-Radio NebulaFlex Access Point (AP). With WiFi 7-supported devices ready to go mainstream in 2024, the NWA130BE enables small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to benefit from unparalleled network speed, capacity and the best possible WiFi experiences.

The NWA130BE delivers enterprise-class WiFi 7 performance, with easy installation and management, at a price that’s affordable for smaller businesses. It enables SMBs to enjoy the full benefits, future proofing and investment protection of the latest wireless standard, and take advantage of Zyxel Networks’ Nebula cloud management platform to configure, monitor and control network devices remotely.

“With the introduction of the NWA130BE, Zyxel Networks is setting a new standard for premium connectivity in business environments,” comments Mr. Kell Lin, Senior Associate Vice President, Networking Solutions Business Unit, Zyxel Networks. “The NWA130BE combines cutting-edge technology with thoughtful design, delivering exceptional performance and simplified management through our Nebula platform.”

The go-to option for WiFi 7 upgrades
The NWA130BE boasts a tri-band BE11000 architecture, supporting speeds of up to 11Gbps and providing double the bandwidth capacity of WiFi 6 through its extra-wide 320MHz channels, which are exclusive to WiFi 7 devices. It also incorporates a Qualcomm Quad-Core CPU for robust performance, and 4K QAM and Multi-Link Operation (MLO) capabilities, boosting peak data rates by up to 20 percent and reducing latency.

The NWA130BE makes upgrading to WiFi 7 easy thanks to its twin 2.5G Ethernet ports, which allow users to leverage affordable 2.5G switches, removing the need for costly re-cabling. With two 2.5G ports, the NWA130BE delivers greater flexibility and value for customers – comparable access points currently on the market typically have a single 2.5G port only.

Silencing the noise
The capability to distinguish the right signal and ignore noise is key to delivering the best WiFi performance. Thanks to its rectangular design, the NWA130BE maximizes the distance between antennas for a stronger signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and reduced interference, which is crucial for crowded or high-density workspaces. Additionally, its exclusive RF-first design minimizes potential interference, including that from nearby WiFi channels and 4G/5G mobile networks, through its Advanced RF Filter and Advanced Cellular Coexistence features.

AI-powered WiFi management and unified security
Assuring network service is essential to business efficiency and productivity, but it can become challenging when businesses scale.  Seamlessly integrated with Zyxel Networks’ Nebula cloud, the NWA130BE provides businesses with central management and full visibility of their networks. Nebula’s AI-powered WiFi Aid and Wireless Health features can automatically diagnose network access issues across the entire wireless client onboarding journey and resolve common WiFi issues, saving administrators’ time on tedious troubleshooting.

Businesses can also utilise Nebula’s Connect & Protect Plus (CNP+), a cloud-delivered security service directly attached to the AP. This provides users with additional protection from malware, phishing and malicious sites. Administrators can implement security policies directly through the AP without altering existing network infrastructure.

Enables partners to address ecological concerns of customers with automated ink replacement, monitoring and on-site warranty cover from day one

Basingstoke, 21 February 2024 – TD SYNNEX (NYSE: SNX) has announced that it has integrated the Epson Workforce Enterprise series of A3 copiers and printers into its OpenMPS managed print service. This gives partners the opportunity to offer customers remote monitoring, automated cartridge replacement, and on-site warranty cover, along with the energy- and waste-saving benefits of Epson’s unique Heat-Free inkjet technology, from the point of installation.

The OpenMPS service empowers partners to manage all their end customers’ printing devices, with automated shipments of supplies, remote monitoring of print devices, and on-site warranty cover. Partners have full control over customer pricing and receive automatic alerts when consumables orders are placed. Smart dashboarding and full reporting allows them to view all orders and shipments in one place, and enhanced data checking protects against fraud.

The integration of the Epson Workforce series into OpenMPS allows partners to offer a complete end-to-end service on these super-fast and highly capable devices. It’s a really easy and effective way for SMB partners to start offering managed print services.

Support for the Epson Workforce series provides partners with a really good solution from a top-name brand that they can take into shared environments where A3 is an absolute necessity. Add to this the energy saving benefits of Epson Workforce series and you have a very attractive value proposition indeed with a broad market appeal.”

Lunn believes there will be good opportunities in the market with Open MPS and the Epson Workforce series “A lot of organisations have been holding back on spending, but are now looking to update shared printing devices, so there is some really good potential out there. When they do commit to upgrading, customers will not want to compromise on performance or energy efficiency and with the Epson Workforce they don’t have to – they get high print speeds, exceptional quality and lower overall costs.”

The Epson Heat-Free inkjet technology used in the Workforce series delivers lower power consumption and has fewer replacement parts, reducing waste and the burden on recycling emissions, as well as the need for user intervention.

TD SYNNEX adds Trillion dark web protection to cybersecurity portfolio

Enables MSSPs to provide value-added proactive monitoring of corporate identities that are being shared on the dark web provides

Basingstoke, 14 February 2024 – TD SYNNEX (NYSE: SNX) has formed an alliance with specialist ISV, Crossword Cybersecurity, that will give partners access to Trillion, the company’s advanced dark web data mining platform for businesses, for the first time.

Ideal for managed security services providers (MSSPs), Trillion proactively scans for customers’ employee usernames and passwords that are being shared on the dark web. It also provides information on where and how the information was sourced.

Full enablement and support on the solution will be provided for Trillion by TD SYNNEX’s specialist security practice in collaboration with Crossword Cybersecurity’s own UK-based team. Channel programmes for both managed services providers and reseller partners are available for Trillion, which becomes part of a wide-ranging portfolio of security solutions and services available through the TD SYNNEX security practice.

Alison Nixon, director, security, UK, TD SYNNEX, said: “The dark web has become a distinct and growing threat to organisations and Trillion is a valuable addition to our expanding security portfolio. It enables MSPs and partners to offer monitoring of the dark web and thus help their customers to be aware that information is out there that could be used to break their own or their customers’ network and data protection.”

The addition of Trillion makes TD SYNNEX even better-placed to support partners in growing and developing their cybersecurity business, she added.

“The wide-ranging portfolio of best-of-breed cybersecurity solutions and services – from leading and specialist vendors, developers and service providers – that TD SYNNEX now offers, enables partners to take a comprehensive cybersecurity and data protection proposition to their customers. Whether they are already established as an MSSP, or just starting to build their own practice, we can provide the expertise, enablement and support they need to grow and develop their business.”

This new addition is, in part, a response to partner feedback. “Within the TD SYNNEX security practice, we are acutely aware of the growing threat that the dark web poses and in recent times it’s come up more often in conversations with partners. If data is out there on the dark web, that’s just as dangerous for small as well as large organisations and, in addition to being extremely effective, Trillion is also very scalable and affordable. We see this as an opportunity for MSSPs and partners addressing every sector of the market to add value for their customers by keeping them one step ahead.”

Commenting on behalf of Crossword Cybersecurity, Stuart Jubb, Group Managing Director, stated: “Trillion has been designed to provide organisations with the pro-active protection from the potential threats that exposure of information on the dark web can bring. Our alliance with TD SYNNEX will allow us to reach out to partners and enable more organisations to benefit from knowing exactly what information from their files has found its way onto the dark web.”

Trillion continuously tracks, correlates and analyses billions of stolen usernames and passwords, hunting for digital identities that could belong to organisations or their customers.

TD SYNNEX’s and CF Corporate’s Microsoft Flex aims to help SMBs step up to Surface

Flexible finance options make it easier for partners to offer and sell Microsoft Surface devices and feed legacy products back into the circular economy

Basingstoke, 01 February 2024 – TD SYNNEX (NYSE: SNX) and CF Corporate Finance Limited (CF Corporate) have launched Microsoft Flex – a flexible finance programme designed to make it easier for small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs) and public sector organisations to purchase Surface laptop devices. The programme will also enable partners to take advantage of the extended availability of the popular range to open up new business opportunities.

Created in partnership with specialist financial services provider, CF Corporate, the Microsoft Flex programme enables end-user customers to pay for new Surface laptops over 12 to 48 months, with assured and transparent end-of-term options. This lowers the overall cost of the products, streamlines cashflow and reduces risk for the customer. An automated quoting tool for the service is available to UK partners on TD SYNNEX’s e-commerce platform, InTouch.

In addition, partners can make use of TD SYNNEX’s Trade-in scheme to provide customers with an even better deal, ensure that legacy hardware enters the circular economy, and is fully recycled with verified disposal and data erasure.

Sophia Haywood-Atkinson, services director, UK, TD SYNNEX, stated: “With the arrival of new AI-enabled chipsets, a wave of Windows 11 upgrades expected, and the reach of Surface now being expanded to more partners, it’s the perfect time to introduce the Microsoft Flex programme. We know from partner feedback that a lot of SMBs would love to step up to Surface but often feel it is just out of their reach. The Microsoft Flex scheme makes it easier for them to fund that investment – and by making use of our Trade-in programme, partners can offer even better value to customers and ensure that their hardware is fed back into the circular economy.”

As well as enabling customers to invest in new Surface devices right away, the Microsoft Flex programme provides various options for the end of the agreement. Customers can either return the equipment, roll it on at the same rate, extend for 12 or 24 months, or make a one-off final fee and have indefinite use of the equipment. All options are embedded into the agreement and are set out clearly at the start.

“Having a great set of flexible options at the end of the contract period is important”, said Mike Yiannakou, director, CF Corporate. “We’ve worked closely with TD SYNNEX to develop the Flex programme and help make it even easier for partners to sell Surface devices. It gives SMBs and education buyers a clear set of options, written into the contract from day one, and also dovetails neatly with the drive towards greater sustainability in IT. We’ll be working with the TD SYNNEX team to offer partners all the support and guidance they need to maximise the potential of this exciting new offer.”

Microsoft recently expanded the availability of Surface devices, enabling any partner to view full availability, pricing and order products without being formally registered as a partner. While this makes it easier to provides quotes on Surface, TD SYNNEX continues to encourage partners to sign-up for the Microsoft partner programme and thus gain access to a range of benefits, including access to deal registration and special pricing terms.
