DMSL brings in Mitchell to support BT partner sales and drive SMB uptake of Voucher Scheme

Romford, 07 November 2018 – DMSL, the leading distributor of broadband and communications solutions and a Premier Partner of BT, is making a further commitment to its partnership by appointing an experienced industry business development manager to help resellers drive sales of BT business broadband and connectivity solutions.

Lawrence Mitchell, who has previously worked at both BT and Vodafone in business sales roles, has joined DMSL in the newly-created role of BT Partner Business Development Manager, with a brief to support resellers in every aspect of their BT business.

Initially, he will be focusing most of his efforts on BT’s latest campaign to encourage SMBs to make use of the government’s Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme for fast connections. This enables SMBs to claim up to £3000 towards connection and construction charges for services that deliver speeds of 100Mbps.

Commenting on his new post, Mitchell said: “I’m excited to join DMSL at time when the hunger for faster broadband is growing amongst the SMBs and BT is pulling out the stops to meet that demand. Mitchell joins the DMSL team having spent the just over two years at Vodafone focusing on unified comms and SMB business sales. He previously spent almost six and a half years at BT, latterly as National Specialist Sales Manager and before that as Senior ICT Specialist, Business Partner Sales.
