- Partnership with Asset Remarketing Services will see customers realise financial rewards from IT and office equipment for which they no longer have any use
- Enables members to add more value and drive more profit from sales
Warrington, 10 January 2019 – SYNAXON UK has formed a partnership with Asset Remarketing, giving members the opportunity to offer their end-user customers a way to dispose of redundant IT equipment and gain financially in the process.
Asset Remarketing will collect old or surplus PCs, laptops, tablets, monitors and other hardware from any location in the UK. Many of these devices will have a residual value that can either be set against the cost of purchasing new equipment or exchanged for an agreed fee.
Mike Barron, Channel Director for SYNAXON UK, said: “Partnering with Asset Remarketing gives our members the opportunity to profit from redundant IT equipment and add more value for their customers. It provides an easy and ethical way for them to get rid of old IT equipment. This is yet another service that makes it well worth being a Synaxon member, by enabling resellers to deliver more to customers and increase their profits.”
Synaxon UK members benefit by having access to the wide range of services, resources and support the group provides. These include EGIS, the industry’s leading procurement system for resellers. Through EGIS, resellers have access to up-to-date pricing and availability from all the leading distributors and many specialist suppliers and can place and manage all their products orders through a single portal.
Phil Steven, Managing Director of Asset Remarketing said: “Asset Remarketing is pleased to have entered into this partnership with SYNAXON UK. For resellers and their customers, the disposal of old IT equipment can be a challenge. We can take that headache away and even come and collect the kit right from their doorstep.”
Asset Remarketing Services works with a wide range of public and private organisations across the UK. It remarkets and recycles thousands of surplus and end-of-life IT products every year. The products are refurbished and having been given it a new lease of life, can be used again. Other material is recycled or disposed of in accordance with government regulations.
From its base on the edge of Manchester, Asset Remarketing Services can organise collections from all areas of the UK and works closely with customers and partners to achieve the maximum value for items such as desktop PCs, laptops, tablets, monitors and other IT hardware, whilst ensuring environmentally ethical and responsible solutions.
