Secureworks’ Taegis™ security analytics platform offers unified detection and response across cloud, network, and endpoint environments

BARCELONA, Spain, May 12, 2021 – Tech Data today announced an agreement with  Secureworks®, a leader in software-driven security solutions. This agreement makes the cloud-native Secureworks Taegis™ portfolio available to Tech Data partners across Europe.

Securework’s Taegis platform unifies detection and response across endpoint, network and cloud environments. The solution leverages advanced analytics and community-applied intelligence – powered by AI-based detection and findings from 1400+ incident response engagements – to detect, investigate and respond to cyberattacks

David Ellis, vice president, cybersecurity and mobility, Europe at Tech Data said: “’Today’s complex environments have massively increased risks for end users across the cloud, network and endpoint. In addition, the well-publicised cyber skills shortage makes management of this area very difficult for customers. We believe the Taegis XDR platform can help MSPs, MSSPs and resellers manage threats far more effectively for their clients. It also creates a very profitable and differentiated cybersecurity service offering, resulting in very sticky and close customer relationships. We are very excited to work with Secureworks to take these solutions to the European market.”

To help partners build a profitable business stream based on technology from Secureworks, Tech Data offers a series of enablement programmes and resources. These include a cybersecurity benchmarking assessment, developed by Tech Data in conjunction with Canalys; access to Tech Data’s Practice Builder programme to help partners adopt new business models and build expertise in growth technology segments; sales and marketing training through Tech Data’s Channel Academy platform, technical training through the distributor’s Academy team and access to a flexible range of financing solutions to enable partners to accelerate investments.

Maureen Perrelli, chief channel officer at Secureworks said: “Tech Data offers MSPs, MSSPs and resellers a comprehensive selection of cybersecurity tools, services, solutions, digital platforms, enablement and expertise. We are very excited to bring Secureworks’ cloud-native Taegis XDR, and industry leading incident response services to Tech Data’s network of partners and customers, further expanding and empowering the cybersecurity community.”

Products and services available through the new distribution agreement include Secureworks Taegis XDR (Extended Detection and Response), Secureworks Taegis Managed XDR,  Secureworks Taegis VDR, and the Secureworks Incident Management Retainer, for proactive and emergency incident response.
